Sorry for the late posting on Mission Monday – we had a slight internet outage at the church!
So - This week’s mission is to LOVE PEOPLE! We are in Baltimore working with the Church on Warren Avenue two blocks from the Inner Harbor area which is GORGEOUS! So not too hard to hang out here for a week! 
Unfortunately because we are human beings we tend to be selfish some times and lack that desire to really LOVE and SERVE all people. As a leader on the trip though it has been very encouraging to see the students DESIRE to go out into this community to leave a mark, an impact, a legacy for Christ! The groups have just been spending time with people around the church, Sharp Leadenhall Community and those hanging out at Federal Hill. Some of us might feel a little more less impacting since we’ve been stuck in the church cleaning, cooking and organizing! Yet we do know that these are NECESSARY things to keep the others working!
Writing just that would be easy because we have a planned mission trip requiring us to be a servant. For me personally though I am trying to keep my mind on serving my students so that they can serve the people here! As the leader, some times you have to lead by doing and other times you lead by preparing them to do!
