Fun Dip Friday

What’s happening this weekend in Charleston? Here are a couple of options to check out…

1. The Thorn:

April 3, 2009

7 p.m. & 9 p.m.

Seacoast Church presents The Thorn, an epic portrayal of the passion of the Christ. Come experience the music, dance, martial arts, acrobatics, & special effects! Check out the website for showtimes and tickets.

2. Flowertown Festival

More than 200 artists and crafters from all over the country display their works for your appreciation and purchase. Each day during the 3-day event brings you live entertainment, a Children’s Jubilee, and a tennis tournament to enjoy. Additionally, fabulous festival foods are prepared to tempt your taste buds and to give you a “taste” of Summerville and the Lowcountry area of South Carolina. April 3-5. 3. Three on Three Improv Tournament

Six teams with three players each compete for your vote to move on to the finals. Each team gets seven minutes to make you laugh and win your vote. Every audience members gets a ballot… you hold their destiny in your hands! The finals are on Saturday at 8 p.m., $10. April 3-4, 8 & 9:30 p.m. $7, $10/both shows, www.thehavenots.com. 4. The Cooper River Bridge Run

April 4th (REAL EARLY)
